Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 450 degrees (F).
In a large bowl whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add milk, all at once, and mix with a rubber spatula just until combined.
Lightly knead the dough in the bowl 3 times.
Transfer to a lightly floured surface
Cover the dough with waxed paper and roll out to 1/2 inch thick.
Cut into 3 inch rounds with a biscuit cutter dipped in flour (Do not twist cutter as you cut…just straight down, then up).
Place the rounds on a baking sheet.
Re-roll the scraps once and discard any remaining scraps.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and serve.
